Before you start
Check that you are using a HubSpot Enterprise account and that a Super Admin will authorize the connection. Also make sure you know which portal you want to connect if your user has access to more than one.
Connect HubSpot
Open Integrations in Enginy.
Find the HubSpot card and enable the integration.
Click Configure.
Enginy will open HubSpot in a new tab.
Choose the correct portal and accept the requested permissions.
Return to Enginy and check that the card appears as connected.
Note: When OAuth finishes, Enginy saves the connection and prepares initial mappings. No Contact or Company has been imported or exported yet.
Review the initial configuration
After connecting, open Configure and review these sections:
Sync Configuration: integration user, identifiers, and general options.
Field Mapping: Contact and Company fields, type, and sync direction.
Campaign Mapping: fields used when logging campaign data.
User Mapping: Identities Mapping, Users Mapping, and Default CRM owner.
Tasks: appears only in workspaces where this feature is enabled.
Click Save after reviewing the configuration.
Reconnect the same account
Use Reconnect when HubSpot has revoked the token, scopes have changed, or the integration appears expired.
Reconnecting the same CRM type keeps the existing mappings. Even so, check the authorized portal before accepting, especially if your user belongs to several HubSpot accounts.
Switch to another CRM
Enginy only supports one active CRM per workspace. Switching from HubSpot to another CRM resets the CRM-specific configuration, including:
Field Mapping.
Custom Matching.
Campaign Mapping.
Identities Mapping and Users Mapping.
Default CRM owner.
Fixed values and manual export values.
Export or note down any configuration you want to keep before making the switch.
Disconnect and revoke
Disconnect removes the connection from Enginy. To also remove permission in HubSpot, open Settings > Integrations > Connected Apps and remove Enginy.
Removing the app in HubSpot does not delete Contacts or Companies created previously. It also does not delete data you have already imported into Enginy.
If the connection does not appear as completed
Return to the Enginy tab.
Reload Integrations.
Check whether HubSpot showed a plan, role, or scopes error.
Use Reconnect if the card is still disconnected.
Confirm with a Super Admin that the app is not blocked or revoked.
