You don't need to write a prompt from scratch every time you want Claude or ChatGPT to do something in Enginy. This page is the reference: real prompts, copy-paste ready, organized by what you're actually trying to do.
One habit worth building: start with "In Enginy, ..." if you've got more than one connector active. It tells Claude or ChatGPT exactly which tool should handle the request. And these are meant to be edited, not memorized: swap in your own list names, filters, and numbers.
Getting set up
Requirements: Active Enginy account. Any Claude plan, including Free (Team and Enterprise plans need an org Owner to add the connector first). Any ChatGPT plan, including Free (Enterprise needs an admin to grant access first). No API keys, no technical setup beyond that.
Connect Enginy to your favorite AI tool
Claude: add a custom extension with this url
https://openapi.enginy.ai/mcp
ChatGPT: find the Enginy Plug-In and connect
Confirm the connection is active (you'll see the Enginy icon available as a tool in the chat).
Run a small test: a 10-contact search is enough to confirm it's wired up correctly.
Connect the output to something real: a list, a campaign, an enrichment run.
Build a list
Turning a targeting idea into an actual list, without touching a filter panel.
1. Build a list with natural language
"In Enginy, find 200 SaaS companies with 50-200 employees in the EU that recently raised a Series B. Then, for those companies, extract Heads of Sales that were recently hired (changed jobs less than 90 days ago). Save contact list to 'EU Series B SaaS - fresh Head of Sales hired'."
2. Slice your CRM in a sentence
"In Enginy, from 'All Contacts', give me VPs of Engineering at Stripe-using fintechs in NY with verified emails. Save as 'NY Fintech VPEs'."
3. Enrich 500 contacts in one prompt
"In Enginy, enrich the 500 contacts in 'NY Fintech VPEs' with mobile phone and verified work email, and generate a one-line pain-point guess for each contact based on their company website."
4. Personalize a line per contact
"In Enginy, write a personalized one-line congrats opener for each contact in my Series B list, based on their most recent funding round."
Engage leads
Once the list exists, getting it into motion.
1. Push a list into a campaign
"In Enginy, add everyone in 'EU Series B · fresh sales hires' to my campaign 'Q2 Outbound · Sales Leaders'."
2. Clone and translate your best campaign
"In Enginy, clone my best-performing English campaign and translate every step into French. Keep my voice. Leave it as a draft."
3. Spin up a five-step sequence
"In Enginy, build a 5-step sequence: LinkedIn connect, email day 2, LinkedIn message day 4, email day 7, email day 11. Target Heads of RevOps."
4. Diagnose a campaign
"Summarise how 'Q2 Outbound · Sales Leaders' in Enginy is performing. What's working? What's broken?"
Scale what works
Once things are running, keeping an eye on them without opening a dashboard.
1. Top performers, without a dashboard
"Which 3 campaigns in Enginy have the best positive-reply rate this month? Which identities look like they need warmup?"
2. Which persona replies best
"Across all my campaigns in Enginy this quarter, which persona converts best? Group by job-title cluster."
3. Auto-post a weekly report
"Every Monday 8am, pull last week's reply rates per campaign from Enginy and post a summary to my Slack #revenue channel."
4. Triage the unified inbox
"Show me all unread inbox threads from Enginy, tag the obvious 'positive' ones, and draft a calendar-link reply for me to approve."
5. Manage tasks in one breath
"How many LinkedIn tasks are pending today in Enginy? Mark all the ones for already-converted prospects as skipped."
