Once your Pipedrive integration is connected, you can bring your Pipedrive contacts and companies straight into Enginy — no CSV exports, no manual copy-paste.
Where to Find It
From Create list (when adding contacts or companies), you'll see two Pipedrive-specific options:
Import contacts from Pipedrive — search your Pipedrive people and pull matching records in.
Import contacts from Pipedrive List — pick one of your saved Pipedrive lists and import everyone in it.
Note: The same two options are available for companies, under Add companies.)
Import Contacts from Pipedrive (Search)
Click Import contacts from Pipedrive.
Enter a Search term — a name, email, or phone number.
Choose which fields to Search in: Name, Email, Phone, Notes, and/or Custom fields.
Optionally enable Exact match.
Click Preview to see which contacts match before importing.
Toggle Update existing contacts if you want to update contacts you already have instead of creating duplicates.
Click Import from Pipedrive.
Note: Pipedrive matches the beginning of words, not arbitrary substrings. For example, "john" matches "John Doe" but "ohn" does not.
Tip: This is a single search term checked across all the fields you select — not multiple filter conditions. For more advanced, multi-condition targeting (e.g. industry + size + location), build a filter in Pipedrive, save it as a list, and use Import contacts from Pipedrive List instead.
Import Contacts from Pipedrive List
Click Import contacts from Pipedrive List.
Under CRM list, select the Pipedrive list you want to import.
Toggle Match with existing contacts to avoid creating duplicates.
Click Import.
Good to Know
Imports run smoothly in the background, even at scale (thousands of records).
Use Search for a quick lookup by a single value; use Lists when you need precise, multi-condition targeting already built in Pipedrive.
