Enginy Chrome Extension

Qualify any contact, act without switching tabs, and know exactly how to reach out — right on the profile in front of you.

Problem it solves

When a rep is looking at a contact, judging fit, acting on them, and figuring out how to open all happen in different tools and tabs. The Enginy Chrome Extension brings that work onto the profile in front of the rep: a side panel that lets them qualify the contact (score, firmographics, enrichment, campaign and list membership, conversation history), act in one click (add to a campaign or list, push to HubSpot, enrich contact or company), and know how to reach out now (before a rep can even write, figuring out why this person is worth contacting now, and writing a first line that isn't generic is tricky).

How to install it

  1. Go to the Chrome Web Store and search for Enginy, or use the direct link .

  2. Click Add to Chrome and confirm the permissions.

  3. Once installed, click the Enginy icon in your browser toolbar and sign in with your Enginy account.

  4. Open any LinkedIn profile or HubSpot record. The Enginy panel opens on the right side of the page.

Requirements: Chrome or any Chromium-based browser. An active Enginy account.

What the panel lets you do

When you open the panel on a contact, three things are available:

1. Qualify in seconds.

The panel shows everything you need to judge fit without opening another tab: score, firmographics, enrichment data, campaign and list membership, and conversation history.

2. Act in one click.

From the same panel: add the contact to a campaign or list, push to HubSpot, or enrich the contact or company.

3. Know how to reach out, now.

This is Reasons to Engage — the new layer that tells you whether to act, why, and gives you a ready-to-send opener when the moment is right. See below.

Reasons to Engage

Depending on the contact's data in Enginy, the panel shows one of three states.

1. Engage Now

Shown when the contact is new to Enginy, or their data was enriched within the last 30 days.

The panel surfaces the signals behind the verdict — a job change, a recent promotion, a hiring spike, news coverage — and gives you a short "why this lead, why now" summary. One action is available: Get intro message.

Clicking Get intro message generates a personalized opening line based on those signals, ready to review and copy. The cost (12 credits) is shown on the button. If you want a different version, you can regenerate for free.

Intent signals Enginy looks for: changed job, promotion, posted recently, reacted to a post, in the news, company is hiring, attended an event.

Engagement Summary

Shown when the contact is, or has previously been, in one of your campaigns (active, paused, or finished).

Instead of a cold opener, you see context on where things stand: messages sent, replies received, current campaign status. Available actions: Add to campaign / Add to list.

Time to Refresh

Shown when the contact's data in Enginy hasn't been updated in the last 30 days.

Rather than act on stale information, you'll see a prompt to refresh first. Click Get fresh insights (2 credits) to update the contact's data, then come back to the panel.

Important: the panel doesn't update automatically when you open it. Refreshing is a deliberate step.

A note on freshness

The 30-day window is based on when the contact was last enriched in Enginy, not their recent activity on LinkedIn. A contact could have posted yesterday, but if their Enginy data is older than 30 days, the panel will show Time to Refresh until you update it.

What you should know

  • The three states are mutually exclusive. You'll see exactly one per contact, determined by their data state.

  • Engage Now is for cold outreach. If a contact is already in a campaign, you'll see Engagement Summary instead.

  • Credit costs shown on buttons reflect current values and may change. Regenerating an intro message after the first generation is free.

  • One-click follow-up actions (send message, create task) are coming in a future release.
