Create an AI Snippet

Inside AI Snippet, there is a button called "Create AI Snippet" that opens a modal with two tabs: Templates and Customized.

Templates

These are default AI Snippets that come ready-made and are specific to each use case, for example:

  1. Discovery question

  2. Value touchpoint

  3. Drive adoption

They are short messages that we, at Enginy, create by adapting them to what is most commonly used. Based on all our experience, the feedback we've gathered, and everything we know, we've created these brief messages so that any user can come into Enginy and select one.

🚀

With these templates, users avoid racking their brains and simply use templates that are already well thought out and designed for their specific purpose — easy, sensible suggestions.

Customized

If we don't want to use templates, we can create customizable AI Snippets. In this case, we describe a message/snippet goal through AI, and it generates the prompt for us, so we avoid all the technical difficulty of knowing how to structure it.

If we prefer not to use AI to generate the prompt, we can create it from scratch.

The "Create AI Snippet" modal

Both options open the Create AI Snippet modal, which is divided into two panels:

  • Left panel (preview): shows the messages the AI Snippet will generate. We can select an identity and a lead to run it on.

  • Right panel (configuration): where we define the AI Snippet's parameters.

Configuration fields

To configure the AI Snippet, we need to define the following fields:

  1. Name: the name of the message.

  2. Channel: can be LinkedIn Message, Email Message, or LinkedIn InMail. It is used to show suggestions according to the selected channel when editing the campaign sequence.

  3. Tone of voice: we can create a specific one so that messages are generated following the defined prompt but with a style of their own.

  4. Folder: in case we want to keep it neatly organized.

  5. AI model: the model the message will be generated with.

  6. Output length: using a slider, we choose the extension percentage (short or long message).

  7. Prompt: the instruction, which we can write in a detailed or simpler way.

  8. Fallback text: a text added as a backup in case the prompt cannot be generated due to lack of context.

💡

The "Enhance" button improves the prompt's wording in terms of structure and content. Additionally, in the prompt we can add variables/attributes (list variables, AI Research, formula fields, custom fields, etc.) to give more context and personalization to the generated message.

Finally, we click the Create button (bottom right) and the AI Snippet is created.
