This article explains how to add individual companies or multiple companies in bulk to the Blocklist. To access the Blocklist, go to Blocklist in the left sidebar of your Enginy workspace.
Add a Single Company
To block an individual company, follow these steps:
Navigate to the Blocklist section and select the Companies tab.
Click the Add Domain / LinkedIn URL button at the top right.
Enter the company's domain or LinkedIn URL. You can add one or several entries at a time.
Select a reason for blocking (e.g., Competitor, Customer, Churn).
Set the block period: Indefinitely, 30, 60, 90, or 180 days, or a Custom Date.
Save your changes.
Warning: Blocking takes effect immediately. Double-check your selection before saving.
Bulk-Add Companies
To block multiple companies at once, you can do so directly from any Companies list:
Go to any Companies list.
Select the entries you want to block by checking their checkboxes. You can use filters (name, industry, activity, or any other relevant criteria) to narrow down results before selecting.
Click Blocklist > Add companies to blocklist in the action bar.
Choose a reason for blocking.
Set the block period: Indefinitely, 30, 60, 90, or 180 days, or a Custom Date.
Note: Bulk-adding follows the same blocking rules as individual entries. All selected companies will immediately stop appearing in lists, campaigns, and CRM exports.
