Introduction

Learn what Tasks are, how they are created, and the statuses and types they can have.

Tasks are action items linked to a specific contact and campaign. They can be created automatically when a campaign sequence reaches a manual step (for example, a phone call to make, an email to draft, or a general to-do) or manually using the Create Task button in the top-right corner of the Tasks page.

Every task lives in one of four tabs that reflect its current state:

Status

Meaning

Due

The task is overdue or due today. This is your daily working queue.

Upcoming

The task is scheduled for a future date.

Ignored

The task has been dismissed without being completed.

Completed

The task has been marked done.

Each task also carries a type that indicates the kind of action required:

Type

Description

Email

An email-related task.

Call

A phone-call task.

To-do

A general action item.

Note: Tasks also appear in the Inbox conversations alongside your other interactions with the lead.
